Casa Claudia and Casa is a one bedroom cottage in the fishing village of Carrapateira in the Western Algarve. This is a really popular spot for surfers and the cottate is just 250 metres from the beach of Bordeira.

The cottage has been built from eco-friendly materials, using traditional adobe bricks which are produced locally.

Accommodation consists of a bedroom with large queen sized bed or two single beds. There is a bathroom with a comfortable large glazed shower cubicle. The sitting room is spacious and has a television, DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave and coffee machine amongst its appliances.

The sofa can be converted into two single beds or one double bed so the cottage can sleep a total of 4 people if required.

Outside is a well-kept south facing sun terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding sand dunes, the perfect place to end a day on the beach with a cool glass of Vinho Verde.

Surrounded by sand dunes on all sides and by the tall ionic cactuses it is perfectly placed to enjoy the unique beauty of the Vicentine Coast National Park. There are facilities for bird-watching, body boarding, fishing, mountain biking, surfing and trekking all within a short drive or walk.

Bordeira beach is just a five minute walk away and Cordoama, Martinhal, Tonel and Ingrina beaches are within a fifteen minute drive

One of the best restaurants in the Western Algarve is ‘O Sitio do Rio' which is situated opposite the cottage and is an organic restaurant.

The cottage is one hour's drive from Faro Airport and three hours from Lisbon.
